Remember Me?

Hello Grade 6!  I hope you’re enjoying your holiday.

I went to Queenscliff, which is near Melbourne, Australia.  It looks nice but it is winter so it is only about 16 degrees Celsius.

Can you find it on a map?

How are you going with your reading?  Make sure you complete at least 400 pages and record it in your reading log so that you can join us for a pizza party in August.  We’re almost halfway there . . .

Have a great summer!

Congratulations to everyone for completing elementary school and entering middle school.  I wish you all the best next year.  Make sure you have a chat to poor old Mr. Connelly sometimes – I’ll miss you!

Remember to keep reading over the summer – at least 400 pages, and record it in your log.

Have a fantastic summer and see you next year.

Message from Ms. Tung re: tomorrow

Dear parents,

We have activity stations planned for the students on the last day of school, Thursday, June 2 from 1:40 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. If you are planning to pick up your child early, please let your homeroom teacher know in advance.  We ask every parent to sign their child out for safety reasons. Thank you!
Mr. Connelly here: also a reminder that Gr. 5 parents can take children home any time after Promotion.  Please let me know first so that I don’t think they’re lost and send out a search party.
